LEGAL NOTICE Notice is hereby given that Three Rivers Aggregates, LLC, 321 Currie Road, Slippery Rock, PA 16057, is requesting a stage II bond release from the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection for the surface mine permit No.10180305-02, issued January 11, 2021, known as the Pfahl Mine. This permit is located in Worth Township, Butler County approximately five miles southwest of Slippery Rock, PA. More specifically, the proposed bond release area is located on the south side of Brandon Road, approximately one-half mile west of the intersection of I-79. The bond release area is located on the property of James C. and Katherine S. Pfahl. A Stage II bond release is reques-ted for SMP #10180305 for 17.3 acres. The area proposed for bond release has been backfilled, graded, topsoil replaced, and vegetation established which meets the specifications of the approved permit. The amount of bond presently in effect is $8,836.21, with the amount requested to be released being $8,836.21. The application, plans and other data concerning this operation for which bond release is requested are available for public inspection at the Bureau of Surface Mining and Reclamation, Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection, White Memorial Building, P.O. Box 669, Knox, PA 16232 between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M., Monday through Friday. Any such person who desires to object, request for informal conferences or public hearings or any written comments should write to the PA Department of Environmental Protection, Bureau of Surface Mining and Reclamation at the above address. The objection must include the persons name, address, telephone number and a brief statement as to the nature of his or her objection. The objections and/or comments should reply within thirty (30) days following the final (4th) publication.
 
LEGAL NOTICE ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS The Board of Education of the Seneca Valley School District, Harmony, Pennsylvania will receive sealed proposals for the OVERFLOW PARKING project at Seneca Valley School District (secondary campus) under single Prime Contract, General Construction (GC). Bids will be accepted no later than 1:00 P.M., local prevailing time, Thursday, June 4, 2026 at the Seneca Valley School District Administrative office, 124 Seneca School Road, Harmony, PA, Attn. Mr. Randy Miller, Director of Buildings and Grounds. Shortly thereafter, bids will be opened and read aloud via a Teams meeting. Notification and directions for the Teams meeting will be provided by addendum during bidding. Prime Bidders may obtain one set of Bidding Documents as follows: MAIL or present to Printscape Imaging and Graphics, 760 Vista Park Drive #7, Pittsburgh, PA 15205, a refundable deposit check in the amount of $100.00, payable to SENECA VALLEY SCHOOL DISTRICT. Write 26019 Deposit in the Memo line, and include a request on company letterhead that includes your firm name, contact persons name, email address, UPS shipping address (no PO Box numbers), phone and fax numbers. o Contact person: Tom Santia at vista@printscape.com Deposit will be returned provided Bidding Documents are returned to Printscape within ten calendar days of bidding date, in good usable condition, and a Bona Fide Bid is received by the School District; otherwise deposit will be forfeited. Shipping charges are not refundable. Each bid must be accompanied by a proposal guaranty of not less than ten percent (10%) of the total of the Base Bid; and by a Non-Collusion Affidavit, Qualification Questionnaire, and a Pennsylvania Certificate of Authority (if applicable). Project is subject to applicable provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevai-ling Wage Act, Act of August 15, 1961, P.L. 987, as amended and supplemented. Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids or parts thereof or items therein and to waive any informality in the bidding.
