ALIQUIPPA SCHOOL DISTRICT LEGAL NOTICE OF MEETING AND SUMMARY NOTICE UNDER LOCAL GOVERNMENT UNIT DEBT ACT Notice is hereby given that the Board of School Directors of the Aliquippa School District will consider, at a meeting to be held on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at 6:00 P.M. (or on such other date and time and at such location as the Board may determine, not later than thirty (30) days following the date of publication of this notice), in the Aliquippa High School Black Box Theater, 100 Harding Avenue, Aliquippa, PA, together with such other business as may come before the Board, the adoption of a resolution authorizing nonelectoral debt in an estimated maximum principal amount of $6,995,000.00 and summarized as follows: Article 1 defines certain terms, including the Bonds and the Project, which consists generally of: (a) funding a portion of the design and construction of a field house, indoor practice field and related facilities; (b) funding various and sundry other capital improvements throughout the School District; (c) funding capitalized interest; and (d) paying the costs of issuing and insuring the Bonds. Articles 2 and 3 authorize the incurrence of nonelectoral debt by the issuance of General Obligation Bonds, and establishes a sinking fund. Article 4 provides the form, maturity amounts, interest rates and the terms and provisions for the payment of the Bonds. Articles 5, 6, 7 and 8 address the Sinking Fund Depository, events of default, and amendment and discharge of the security documents. Article 9 contains federal income tax covenants and certain elections and designations related to the Bonds; Article 10, securities law covenants. Article 11 provides for the sale of the Bonds, establishes certain funds and sets forth certain directions for Settlement, while Article 12 authorizes other related and necessary actions. LEGAL NOTICE TO BIDDERS CITY OF BUTLER BUTLER COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA Sealed Proposals will be received by the City of Butler, Butler County, Pennsylvania for the Tier Parking Garage Masonry Repairs Project within the City of Butler, Pennsylvania. The project will include: This project involve repairs to a 5-story parking garage, including but not limited to, structural steel repairs; facade repairs including tuckpointing, masonry rebuild, flashing, resetting of capstones and caulking, any and all mobilization, General Condition requirements, dust control, pedestrian and vehicular traffic control, notifications, temporary facilities, safety equipment, site photography, project management, and restoration of disturbed areas shall be considered incidental to this Contract. All proposals shall be delivered in a sealed envelope and clearly marked on the outside with the words TIER PARKING GARAGE MASONRY REPAIRS to the City of Butler Clerks office located on the 1st floor of 140 West North Street, Butler, PA 16001 before 10:00 A.M. prevailing time on October 21, 2026. Bids will be publicly opened in the Council Chambers on the 3rd floor of the City building at 10:05 A.M. on October 21, 2026. There is a NON-MANDATORY pre-bid meeting on Thursday, October 15, 2026, at 10:00 A.M. at Tier Parking Garage along West Cunningham Street, Pittsburgh, PA 16001. All bidders are encouraged to attend. Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds or certified check in the amount of 100% of the contract, along with Public Liability and Property Damage Certificates of Insurance in the amounts specified, as well as Certificates of Workmans Compensation must be filed with the executed Agreement. Proposals to receive consideration must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bidders Bond from a Surety Company authorized to do business in Pennsylvania, made to the order of the City of Butler in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the Proposal as a guarantee that, if the Proposal is accepted, the successful Bidder will enter into an Agreement within 15 days after Notice of the Award of the Contract. The Proposals shall remain firm for a period of sixty (60) days. No Bidder may withdraw his Proposal during the sixty (60) day period without forfeiting his Bid guarantee. The City of Butler reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals, or any part thereof, for any reason, and also reserves the right to waive any informality therein. ALIQUIPPA SCHOOL DISTRICT LEGAL NOTICE OF MEETING AND SUMMARY NOTICE UNDER LOCAL GOVERNMENT UNIT DEBT ACT Notice is hereby given that the Board of School Directors of the Aliquippa School District will consider, at a meeting to be held on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at 6:00 P.M. (or on such other date and time and at such location as the Board may determine, not later than thirty (30) days following the date of publication of this notice), in the Aliquippa High School Black Box Theater, 100 Harding Avenue, Aliquippa, PA, together with such other business as may come before the Board, the adoption of a resolution authorizing nonelectoral debt in an estimated maximum principal amount of $6,995,000.00 and summarized as follows: Article 1 defines certain terms, including the Bonds and the Project, which consists generally of: (a) funding a portion of the design and construction of a field house, indoor practice field and related facilities; (b) funding various and sundry other capital improvements throughout the School District; (c) funding capitalized interest; and (d) paying the costs of issuing and insuring the Bonds. Articles 2 and 3 authorize the incurrence of nonelectoral debt by the issuance of General Obligation Bonds, and establishes a sinking fund. Article 4 provides the form, maturity amounts, interest rates and the terms and provisions for the payment of the Bonds. Articles 5, 6, 7 and 8 address the Sinking Fund Depository, events of default, and amendment and discharge of the security documents. Article 9 contains federal income tax covenants and certain elections and designations related to the Bonds; Article 10, securities law covenants. Article 11 provides for the sale of the Bonds, establishes certain funds and sets forth certain directions for Settlement, while Article 12 authorizes other related and necessary actions. The full text of the Resolution, as proposed, may be examined by any citizen between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 3:00 P.M. on regular school business days at the District Administration Office, 800 21st Street, Aliquippa, PA 15001.
