LEGAL BID NOTICE The Butler County Airport Authority will receive proposals for Contract 2026-2, Pittsburgh-Butler Regional Airport, 473 Airport Road, Butler, PA 16002 until 11:00 A.M. local time on June 9th, 2026, which proposals will immediately there-after be publicly opened and read aloud. Contract No. 2026-2 Maintenance Building Plans, Specifications, and Proposals in Portable Document Format (PDF) may be down-loaded for free as outlined below. Contract Documents including Plans, Specifications Proposals, and addendums (if issued) will be available for examination and downloading beginning on May 19th, 2026 at the following website: http://bidportal.mjinc.com under the Project Name: Pittsburgh-Butler Regional Airport Contract No. 2026-2 - Maintenance Building Addendums and other additional or revised Contract Documents will be available on the website ONLY and it is the Bidders sole responsibility to check the website for additions or revisions up to the day prior to the due date for Proposals listed above. Addendums and other additional or revised Contract Documents will not be transmitted directly to Bidders or Plan Holders. There are separate contracts for General Construction, Electrical Construction, Plumbing Construction and HVAC Construction per the summary of work in specifications section 011200 MULTIPLE CONTRACT SUMMARY and the bid forms included in Section P-PROPOSAL. Bidders can submit on more than one contract. Questions regarding the technical aspects of the bid drawings and/or the contract documents should be directed to the Project Engineer. The Project Engineer is Nicholas Barber and can be contacted by email or phone at nbarber@mjinc.com or 814-594-0240. Bids shall be on the prescribed forms furnished by the Butler County Airport Authority and shall be in accordance with the General Provisions, Proposal Require-ments and Conditions Section 20. The Butler County Airport Authority expressly reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or to waive informalities in the same. Each bidder must deposit with this proposal a guarantee in an amount equal to at least ten percent (10%) of his bid. The Bid Guarantee shall consist of a firm commitment such as a bid bond, certified check, or other negotiable instrument accompanying a bid as assurance that the bidder will, upon acceptance of his bid, execute such contractual documents as may be required within the time specified. No bidder may withdraw his bid within one hundred twenty (120) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Work shall be commenced within ten (10) days of the date specified in the written notification to proceed and shall be fully and finally completed within 180 Calendar days of the date specified in the written notification to proceed. The Butler Cou-nty Airport Authority hereby notifies that it will affirmatively ensure compliance with the regulations relative to nondiscrimination in Federally assisted programs of the Department of Transportation, title 49, Code of Federal Regu-lations, Part 26 (as they may be amended from time to time). A pre-bid meeting will be held on June 1st, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. at the Airport Terminal (Pittsburgh-Bulter Regional Airport, 473 Airport Road, Butler, PA 16002.) In accordance with 49 CFR Part 26, the DBE Goal for this contract is set at 0%. Bidders are encouraged to seek and obtain DBE participation. All DBE firms used to meet this goal must be certified by the PA UCP. Certification as a DBE by the PA UCP is separate and distinct from other certification programs. The only source that should be used for verification of current eligibility of a DBE firm is the PA UCP website as www.paucp .com. Physical certification letters and/or expiration dates should not be requested from DBE firms. All bidders are requested to submit a list of all firms that provide them quotes with the following information: a) Name of firm b) Address and telephone number of firm c) DBE status/category (if any) d) Age of firm e) Approximate annual gross receipts of business f) Type of work g) Dollar amount of work quoted The contractor or subcontractor, by submission of an offer and/or execution of a contract, certifies that it: a) is not owned or controlled by one or more citizens or nationals of a foreign country included in the list of countries that discriminate against U.S. firms published by the Office of the United States Trade Representative (USTR); b) has not knowingly entered into any contract or subcontract for this project with a contractor that is a citizen or national of a foreign country on said list, or is owned or controlled directly or indirectly by one or more citizens or nationals of a foreign country on said list; c) has not procured any product not subcontracted for the supply of any product for use on the project that is produced in a foreign country on said list. Successful bidder must enter into the Agreement and furnish a Contract bond and evidence of required insurance within fifteen (15) days after the notification of acceptance of such proposal, all as more specifically required in the Contract Documents. Wages as predetermined by the PA Department of Labor & Industry included in specifications and contract documents and/or addenda thereto shall be used by the contractor in paying labor in connection with the work under this contract. All work under this contract shall be under and subject to the regulations contained in Section R of the Contract Documents.

LEGAL NOTICE Notice is hereby given that Three Rivers Aggregates, LLC, 321 Currie Road, Slippery Rock, PA 16057, is requesting a stage II bond release from the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection for the surface mine permit No.10180305-02, issued January 11, 2021, known as the Pfahl Mine. This permit is located in Worth Township, Butler County approximately five miles southwest of Slippery Rock, PA. More specifically, the proposed bond release area is located on the south side of Brandon Road, approximately one-half mile west of the intersection of I-79. The bond release area is located on the property of James C. and Katherine S. Pfahl. A Stage II bond release is reques-ted for SMP #10180305 for 17.3 acres. The area proposed for bond release has been backfilled, graded, topsoil replaced, and vegetation established which meets the specifications of the approved permit. The amount of bond presently in effect is $8,836.21, with the amount requested to be released being $8,836.21. The application, plans and other data concerning this operation for which bond release is requested are available for public inspection at the Bureau of Surface Mining and Reclamation, Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection, White Memorial Building, P.O. Box 669, Knox, PA 16232 between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M., Monday through Friday. Any such person who desires to object, request for informal conferences or public hearings or any written comments should write to the PA Department of Environmental Protection, Bureau of Surface Mining and Reclamation at the above address. The objection must include the persons name, address, telephone number and a brief statement as to the nature of his or her objection. The objections and/or comments should reply within thirty (30) days following the final (4th) publication.
