LEGAL NOTICE NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on May 11, 2026, at 6:00 P.M., at the Chicora Volunteer Fire Department, 202 West Slippery Rock Street, Chicora, PA 16025, the Council of the Borough of Chicora, Butler County, Pennsylvania, will act on an ordinance (of which this notice is the summary) authorizing the issuance of a general obligation Note in the sum of one million four hundred thousand ($1,400,000.00), principal amount, at a private sale. If enacted, the ordinance will award the Note to the purchaser thereof, approve the form of the Note, fix the rate of interest to be paid, pledge the full faith and credit of the local government unit for the payment thereof, create a sinking fund and authorize the proper officers to take the necessary steps to issue the Note. The funds to be obtained from the borrowing will be used for the purpose of bridge loan financing for the replacement of water service lines within the Borough of Chicora. A copy of the full text of the proposed ordinance may be examined by any citizen in the office of the Secretary of the local government unit 110 Firehouse Cartway, Chicora, PA 16025, Pennsylvania, on any business day (except Saturdays and Sundays) between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M., prevailing time. LEGAL NOTICE INVITATION TO BIDDERS Notice is hereby given that the Cranberry Township Board of Supervisors, Butler County, 2525 Rochester Road, Suite 400, Cranberry Township, PA 16066- 6499, will accept sealed bids for the following contracts: Contract No. 2026-383 Powell Farm Water Tap Provide all labor, materials, equipment and supervision necessary for the installation of 625 LF of 8 waterline on Goehring Road and a meter vault for the Powell Farm property, as more clearly specified in the Contract Documents. LEGAL NOTICE Request for Professional Services Richland Township, Allegheny County, has received notice of the award of the Local Share Account (LSA) Grant to develop a Comprehensive Plan for the Township. The Richland Township Board of Supervisors are soliciting proposals from qualified comprehensive planning consultants to prepare a Comprehensive Plan for Richland Township. This includes facilitating public meetings and additional meetings, as necessary. The qualified consultant must comply with all applicable federal, state and local statutes, codes, and regu-lations, including by not limited to, all statutes and regulations appli-cable to public contracts in Pennsylvania. LEGAL NOTICE TOWNSHIP OF JACKSON - NOTICE OF ENACTMENT UNDER LOCAL GOVERNMENT UNIT DEBT ACT Notice is hereby given that the Board of Supervisors of the Township of Jackson (Butler County, PA) at a special meeting held on Thursday, April 30, 2026, enacted an ordinance authorizing the issuance of lease rental debt by the guaranty of a Revenue Obligation Note of the Jackson Municipal Authority and the private sale thereof to WesBanco, Inc. in the principal amount of $3,000,000.00 dollars bearing interest at the rate of 4.91% per annum for the first 5 years of the Note that will then convert to the Five Year Treasury rate plus 0.09% at the 60th month and 120th month thereafter until paid with the range of the lease rental payments due by the Township being $0 to $3,000,000.00 plus interest. The range of annual payments is from $0 to $240,282.88 with a balloon payment at 132 months of $0 to $2,097,649.94. The Townships officers are directed to do all acts necessary and proper for the issuance and securing of said Note. No amendments were made during the final passage of this ordinance. The full text of the Ordinance as enacted may be examined by any citizen between the hours of 7:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M., Monday through Friday at the Jackson Township Municipal Building, located at 140 Magill Road, Zelienople, PA 16063.
