PUBLIC NOTICE OF SUBMISSION OF RESIDUAL WASTE MAJOR PERMIT MODIFICATION APPLICATION On or before July 10, 2026, Sonneborn, LLC will submit an application to the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (PADEP), Waste Management Program, for a Major Permit Modification for the existing Residual Waste Permit No. 300995 for the Sonneborn Petrolia landfill. The waste facility is in Fairview Township, Butler County, Pennsylvania. The facility accepts non-hazardous residual waste from their chemical manufacturing facility. No hazardous waste is accepted at the waste facility. The facilitys permitted design will be updated to allow for a vertical expansion of the Petrolia Landfill. The expansion will increase in facility capacity by 65,000 cubic yards. Copies of the application will be available for review during normal business hours at the DEPs Northwestern Regional Office, 230 Chestnut Street, Meadville, PA 16335. An appointment to review this application must be made with the DEP regional office. Fees for copying may be charged by the DEP. Copies of the application will also be provided by the DEP to Petrolia and Butler County. Petrolia and Butler County may submit comments to the DEP within 60 days of receipt of the application, recommending conditions upon, revisions to, and approval or disapproval of the application. The DEP will also accept and consider comments from the public during the permit review. LEGAL NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED FINANCING BY CHICORA INDEPENDENT HOSE COMPANY NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Chicora Independent Hose Company (aka Chicora Volunteer Fire Department) located in Chicora, Butler County, Pennsylvania, will meet on Tuesday, June 16th, 2026 at 7:00 P.M. at the Chicora Independent Hose Company Meeting Room at 202 West Slippery Rock Street, Chicora, PA 16025 at 7:00 P.M., for the purpose of holding a public hearing pursuant to the requirements of Section 147(f) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended, on a proposal that the issuer enter into an agreement in order to finance certain equipment. The equ-ipment to be financed consists of a 2009 Pierce Arrow XT Engine and will be located at 202 West Slippery Rock Street, Chicora, PA 16025. To finance the costs of such equipment and to pay costs and expenses incidental to the financing, the issuer proposes to enter into a loan agreement in the maximum aggregate principal amount of $350,000.00. The issuer will be required to pay all taxes on the equipment. The loan payments due pursuant to the loan agreement will be secured by a security interest in the equipment. All persons interested may appear to be heard at said time and place or may file written comments with the Chicora independent Hose Company prior to the date of hearing set forth heretofore.
