LEGAL NOTICE OF INTENT TO ADOPT ORDINANCE The Borough Council of Valencia Borough, Butler County, Pennsylvania, will vote on an Ordinance entitled AN ORDINANCE OF VALENCIA BOROUGH, BUTLER COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA REP-LACING ORDINANCE NO. 214 OF 1-9-1990, NOW ENTITLED BURNING AND FIRE ORDINANCE on June 8, 2026, at 7:00 P.M. at the Valencia Borough Building, 61 Almira Street, Valencia, PA 16059. Section 1 - Repeals prior burning Ordinances. Section 2 - Provides definitions for the Ordinance. Section 3 - Sets forth exclusions to the Ordinance. Section 4 - Prohibits outside burning of certain materials. Section 5 - Requires receptacles for certain burning. Section 6 - Sets forth hours for outside burning Section 7 - Prohibits fires on certain days Section 8 - Sets forth provisions for nuisance fires Section 9 - Sets for standards for all fires in the Borough Section 10 - Requires adult supervision of outside burning except recreational fires Section 11 - Sets forth enforcement Section 12 - Sets forth penalties for violations Section 13 - Repeals all prior inconsistent ordinances Section 14 - Sets severability Section 15 - Provides the effective date Copies of the full text of the Ordinance and map are available at the Valencia Borough Municipal Building during regular office hours, the Butler County Law Library located in the County Courthouse, Butler, Pennsylvania, and at this newspaper and may be examined without charge or obtained for a charge not greater than the cost thereof.
