TOWNSHIP OF CRANBERRY LEGAL NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING AND INTENT TO ADOPT The Board of Supervisors of Cranberry Township, Butler County, Pennsylvania will hold a public meeting on Thursday, July 30, 2026 at 6:30 P.M. to conduct business pertinent to the Township. At this meeting there will be a public hearing and consideration of adoption of Bill No. 2026-03. A title and summary of the proposed ordinance are as follows: BILL NO. 2026-03 ORDINANCE NO. 2026- TOWNSHIP OF CRANBERRY BUTLER COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF CRANBERRY, BUTLER COUNTY, PENNSYL-VANIA FOR THE PURPOSE OF MAKING CHANGES, CLARIFI-CATIONS, AND AMENDMENTS TO CHAPTER 27 (ZONING) BY DEFINING AND IDENTIFYING THE CONDITIONS UNDER WHICH ANIMALS ARE PERMITTED, REVISING PART 2 (DEFINITIONS), REVISING PART 7 (EXPRESS STANDARDS AND CRITERIA FOR EACH USE AUTHORIZED BY CONDITIONAL USE PROCEDURE) BY ADDING ANIMAL RESCUE AND ANIMAL SANCTUARY TO THE TABLE, AND REVISING ATTACHMENT 2 (TABLE OF AUTHORIZED PRINCIPAL USES), AND PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY AND REPEAL OF ALL PRIOR INCONSISTENT ORDINANCES. SOLICITORS SUMMARY OF PROPOSED TOWNSHIP OF CRANBERRY ORDINANCE NO. 2026- BILL NO. 2026-03 An Ordinance of the Township of Cranberry, Butler County, Pennsylvania for the purpose of making changes, clarifications, and amendments to Chapter 27 (Zoning) by defining and identifying the conditions under which animals are permitted, revising Part 2 (Definitions), including revising the definitions of Agricultural Activities, and Agricultural Operation, providing new definitions for Animal Rescue, Animal Sanctuary, and Veterinary, revising Part 7 (Express Standards and Criteria for each Use Authorized by Conditional Use Procedure) by adding Animal Rescue And Animal Sanctuary to the table, and revising Attachment 2 (Table Of Authorized Principal Uses) as it applies to Agricultural Operations, Animal Rescue and Animal Sanctuary, and providing for severability and repeal of all prior inconsistent Ordinances.
