Section 1 of the proposed Ordinance is the Township’s election to amend its Non-Uniform Pension Plan and agreement to be bound by all require-ments of Pennsylvania law. Section 2 is the Township’s agreement that the Pennsylvania Municipal Retirement System shall administer and provide the benefits set forth in the Pension Plan. Section 3 is the Township’s acceptance and ratification of the contract and all plan amendments thereto between the Township and the Pennsylvania Municipal Retirement Board. Section 4 is the Township’s agreement that all payment obligations shall be made by the Township. Section 5 establishes the effective date and repeal of Township Ordinance Nos. 95 and 106. Section 6 states that a copy of the Ordinance shall be filed with the Pennsylvania Municipal Retirement System.
