Avoid becoming a victim of scams and fraud!

ALWAYS:
  • Arrange to meet so the buyer can examine the item before payment
  • Be suspicious of too-good-to-be-true offers;
    there's probably a catch
NEVER:
  • Send money before you've seen the item
  • Send an item before you have been paid
Well known classified scams:
  • Cheap overseas phones (iPhones etc.)
  • Cheap laptops (MacBooks etc.)
  • Cheap loans (overseas)
  • Get rich programs
  • Advance funds fraud
  • Puppy scams

¶ Clay Township, 1115 Euclid School Road, Butler, PA 16001 will receive sealed proposals from bidders until 2:00 P.M., May 7, 2026 for the following:
LIMESTONE BID
Item 1: 600 Tons M/L #2A Limestone
Item 2: 800 Tons M/L #1 Limestone
Item 3: 300 Tons M/L #3 Limestone
Item 4: 300 Tons M/L #57 Limestone
Item 5: 150 Tons M/L R4 RIP RAP Limestone
Item 6: 350 Tons M/L #8 Limestone
Item 7: 1000 Tons M/L 4” Minus Sandstone
Item 8: 300 Tons ML
10 x 0 Sand Rock
Item 9: 8,000 E1-Prime M/L Dust Oil
Delivered and applied as directed

All items “Delivered as Directed”. All materials must meet PADot specifications.
¶ Proposals must be on forms furnished by the Township and can be obtained at the Township office during public hours, or by calling

All proposals must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid, made payable to Clay Township. Clay Township reserves the right to accept or reject all or any part of its bids and to award the contract in the best interest of the Municipality.
¶ Envelopes must be clearly marked “LIMESTONE BID FOR LETTING May 7, 2026”
. Bids will be opened at 6:00 P.M. on Thursday, May 7, 2026 at the Clay Township Municipal Building.
