LEGAL NOTICE OFPUBLIC HEARINGON PROPOSEDFINANCING BYPROSPECTVOLUNTEER FIREDEPARTMENT¶ NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Prospect Volunteer Fire Department, Prospect, Butler County, PA will meet on May 1, 2026 at 12:00 P.M. at the firehouse, 373 Main Street, Prospect, PA 16052 for the purpose of holding a public hearing pursuant to the requirements of Sec. 147(f) of the IRS Code of 1986 as amen-ded on a proposal that the Issuer enter into an agreement in order to finance certain equipment.The equipment to be financed consists of One (1) Pierce Saber Pumper Fire Truck to be located at 373 Main Street, Prospect.¶ To finance costs of such equipment and to pay costs and expenses incidental to the financing, the Issuer proposes to enter into a loan contract in the maximum aggregate principal amount not to exceed $964,489.00. The Issuer will be required to pay all taxes on the equipment. The Contract Payments due pursuant to the loan Contract will be secured by a security interest in the equipment.¶ All persons interested may appear and be heard at said time and place or may file written comments with Prospect Volunteer Fire Department prior to the hearing set forth heretofore.
