REQUEST FOR
PROPOSALS
¶ Proposals will be received from qualified architectural and or engineering firms to provide professional services for the design, consultation and construction administration services for renovations to the lower level of 426 East Main Street, Evans City, PA 16033. These proposals will be received electro-nically via the PennBid program on or before 1:00 P.M. prevailing time, May 5, 2026.
¶ Proposals shall be opened immediately thereafter in the Butler County Controller’s Office, 5th floor, Butler County Government Ce-nter, 124 West Diamond Street, Butler, PA 16003, with the results made available via PennBid shortly thereafter. Those proposals submitted directly to the County of Butler will be invalid and considered nonresponsive.
¶ Complete details and a copy of the Request for Proposals is available online at no cost at www.pennbid (https://pennbi
d.bonfirehub.com). Any questions regarding the project must be submitted via the “messages” feature in Pennbid no later than April 28, 2026 at 1:00 P.M.
¶ A mandatory pre-proposal meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at 9:00 A.M. at 426 East Main Street, Evans City, PA 16033. At the pre-proposal conference, potential vendors will be permitted to inspect the project location. All persons or entities submitting proposals must attend this pre-proposal conference. Failure to attend this mandatory pre-proposal conference will result in the disqualification of the vendor from submitting a response to the request for proposals and their submission will not be considered.
