  • Arrange to meet so the buyer can examine the item before payment
  • Be suspicious of too-good-to-be-true offers;
    there's probably a catch
NEVER:
  • Send money before you've seen the item
  • Send an item before you have been paid

  • Cheap overseas phones (iPhones etc.)
  • Cheap laptops (MacBooks etc.)

LEGAL NOTICE Sealed proposals will be received by the Summit Township of Butler County at 502 Bonniebrook Road Butler, PA 16002 until 10:00 A.M. on July 24, 2026 for the following: Item 1 - Site work for a 40 x 80 cold storage building at 502 Bonnie-brook Road Butler, PA 16002 A pre-bid meeting is required and will be held on July 6, 2026 at 10:00 A.M. at the site location. NOTE: Prevailing wage rates shall apply to this contract. Liquidated damages apply at the rate of $885.00 per calendar day. Proposals must be upon the forms furnished by the Municipality. For third-class cities the bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid, made payable to the municipality. For other municipal types it is the discretion of the municipality. A performance bond or certified check in the amount of 100% of the contract shall be furnished by the successful bidder within 20 days after the contract is awarded. The bid will be awarded on August 5, 2026 at 6:45 P.M. at the regularly scheduled public meeting at 502 Bonniebrook Road, Butler, PA 16002.
