LEGAL NOTICE TO BIDDERS CITY OF BUTLER BUTLER COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA Sealed Proposals will be received by the City of Butler, Butler County, Pennsylvania for the 123 S. Main Street Demolition Project. This project consists of the demolition of the existing building on the site. This includes securing and protecting the adjacent buildings and removing the foundation to below grade. The site is to be infilled and improvements to be made per the project specifications. A Mandatory Pre-bid Meeting will be held July 8, 2026, at 2:00 P.M., at 123 S Main St, Butler, PA 16001. All proposals must be submitted to Gray Consulting, 201 S. Main Street, Suite 200, Butler, PA 16001 before 2:00 P.M., prevailing time, July 22, 2026, and the same will be publicly opened at 2:05 P.M. in the conference room at 201 S. Main Street, Suite 200, Butler, PA 16001. Proposals shall be delivered in a sealed envelope and clearly marked on the outside with the words, 123 S. Main Street Demolition Project. Copies of Specifica-tions, Instructions to Bidders, General Conditions, Forms of Proposals and Agreement are on file and open to public inspection at the office of Gray Consulting, 201 S. Main Street, Suite 200, Butler, PA 16001 where sets of said documents may be obtained upon payment of $50.00 for a digital set or $85 per hard copy set payable to Gray Consulting. A $25.00 fee is applied if speci-fications are to be mailed. No refunds for purchased documents. This is a Unit Price contract. Liquidated damages apply at a rate of $500.00 per calendar day. Proposals must be sub-mitted upon the forms within the specifications. Proposals to receive consideration must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bidders Bond from a Surety Company authorized to do business in Pennsylvania, made to the order of the City of Butler in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the Proposal as a guarantee that, if the Proposal is accepted, the successful Bidder will enter into an Agreement within 15 (fifteen) days after Notice of the Award of the Contract. The Proposals shall remain firm for a period of sixty (60) days. No Bidder may withdraw their Proposal during the sixty (60) day period without forfeiting their Bid guarantee. The City of Butler reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals, or any part thereof, for any reason, and also reserves the right to waive any informality therein.
