Box 1022, Kittanning, PA 16201 has made application to the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection for renewing its existing surface coal mine permit and the related NPDES permit - PA0211401. The current mining permit 10920112 was originally issued on December 20, 1993 and will expire on December 18, 2026. This renewal does not contain revisions to the existing operation and is for water treatment only. The operation is located in Concord Township, Butler County and is known as the Rodis Dayen Mine. The 22.6 acre permit area is situated North of SR 1010 (Hooker Road) approximately mile North of the intersection of Hooker Road and Troutman Road on properties of Buffalo Valley Ltd. and Steve Blauser.
