LEGAL NOTICE Herman Oil & Gas Notice of proposed gas cost recovery filing. Each September, small natural gas distribution companies in Pennsylvania, including Herman Oil & Gas LLC, are required to provide the Public Utility Commission and customers with an estimate of what the anticipated cost of the natural gas commodity will be on November 1st of that year. Approximately 40% of your bill is covering the cost of the natural gas we purchase for your use. The exact cost of the purchased gas is passed along to you and Herman Oil & Gas does not make any profit on this portion of your bill. This year, we anticipate the cost of natural gas on November 1, 2026 will be $13.0575/Mcf, an increase of $4.2556/Mcf. The monthly bill for an average residential customer using 63 Mcf per year will increase $22.34. These cost projections will be examined by the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission. Many different, rapidly changing factors will affect the cost of the natural gas commodity. Herman Oil & Gas is permitted to adjust the purchased gas cost portion of your bill annually to true up any variations in the actual cost of the natural gas we purchased and the amount you paid. This regulatory process can be confusing. We encourage you to contact us with any questions at 137 Harris Road, Butler, PA 16002. You may file a complaint with the PUC, Bureau of Consumer Services, P.O. Box 3265, Harrisburg, PA 17105-3265.
