LEGAL NOTICE ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS BUTLER COUNTY, PA 4.16KV AERIAL LINE CONSTRUCTION- MUNTZ ROAD Sealed Bids for construction of the 4.16KV AERIAL LINE CONSTRUCTION will be received by the Borough of Zelienople until 11:00 A.M. local time on October 19, 2026 at which time the Bids will be publicly opened and read. The Project consists of the installation of owner-furnished materials for the construction of a 4.16kV feeder comprised of approximately 1000 of pole line and 500 of underground line. Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond or security in the amount of 10% of the Bid subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. All bids shall be irrevocable for 60 days after the bid opening unless noted otherwise and remain subject to acceptance for 120 days after the bid opening. Bidders must comply with all State antibid-rigging regulations per-taining to Work associated with this Project and will be required to submit an executed non-collusion affidavit with the bid. Bidders shall be aware that these Contracts are subject to the provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act and bids shall be prepared accordingly. This Project falls under The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania enacted Act 127 of 2012, known as the Public Works Employment Verification Act (the Act) which requires all public work contractors and subcontractors to utilize the Federal Governments E-Verify system to ensure that all employees performing work on public work projects are authorized to work in the United States. All Bidders are required to submit a Public Works Employment Verification Form as a precondition for the Contract Award. Bidders on this work will be required to comply with the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act No. 222. Bidder must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, religion, color, handicap, national origin, age, or sex. The Borough of Zelienople reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all bidders, to refuse any or all bids submitted.
