Bidding documents are available at no cost on PennBid (www.pennbid.net). Proposals shall be submitted upon forms provided by the Township. Bids will be received electronically via the PennBid Program until 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at which time the bids will be opened, with the results made available on PennBid. Bids submitted directly to Cranberry Township will be invalid and considered non-responsive. Questions regarding this bid shall be submitted via the Messages feature within PennBid. All bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of One-Thousand Dollars ($1,000) payable to Cranberry Township. All bids shall remain irrevocable for 60 days after the actual date of the opening. Bidders must comply with all State anti-kickback regulations pertaining to work associated with this project and will be required to submit an executed anti-collusion statement with the bid. The estimated cost of this Project is greater than Twenty-five Thousand Dollars ($25,000) and the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act shall apply. PUBLIC NOTICE As requested by the Department of Environmental Protection, we do hereby give notice that Richard Mercer has submitted a Sewage Facilities Planning Module, Component 3s to Winfield Township for an existing 4-bedroom single family residence. This proposal is for the construction of a small flow treatment facility with discharge into UNT Buffalo Creek (HQ-TSF). The system will be used to treat the sewage from the existing dwelling on the subject property. The site is located on the south side of Peters Lane, approximately 0.4 miles east of the intersection of Leasureville Road and Peters Lane in Winfield Township, Butler County. The anticipated sewage flow from the facility is 500 gallons per day (1.25 Equivalent Dwelling Units). The Sewage Facilities Planning Module for this sewage treatment facility is available for public review at the Winfield Township Office.
