LEGAL NOTICE Invitation for Bids County of Butler 107 Woody Drive; Coroner’s Office Butler County is receiving separate sealed bids for the following contracts: Contract #1 - General Construction Contract #2 - Plumbing Contract #3 - Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Contract #4 - Electrical The County of Butler, the Owner, will receive separate sealed bids for each Prime Construction Contract on the above Project until the date, time, and place listed below. If Bidders are bidding on more than one contract number, they must submit a separate bid for each contract number. The Project consists of Multiple Prime Construction of renovations to the Coroner’s Office, 107 Woody Drive, Butler, PA. Specific separate bid packages are noted above. Plans, specifications and bidding documents are available at no cost on Pennbid (https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com) Any questions regarding the project must be submitted via the “messages” feature in Pennbid no later than February 14, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. Bids shall be submitted upon forms provided by the County. Bids will be received electronically via the Pennbid program until 11:30 A.M. on Friday, February 21, 2025 at which time the bids will be opened, with the results made available on Pennbid. Bids submitted directly to the County of Butler will be invalid and considered nonresponsive. A Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held at 10:00 A.M. on January 30, 2025 in the Coroner’s Office, 107 Woody Drive, Butler, PA. At the pre-bid conference, potential bidders will be permitted to inspect the Project location by a guided tour. Additional site visits may be arranged in accordance with the instructions to bidders. All persons or entities submitting bids must attend this pre-bid conference. Failure to attend this mandatory pre bid conference will result in the disqualification of the bidder from bidding to perform the work and their bid will not be opened. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a bidder’s bond, or certified check or cashier’s check, payable to the County of Butler, in the amount of not less than ten percent. The County of Butler reserves the right to waive any informality in and to accept or reject any and all bids or any part of any bid. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days. Bidders will be required to submit an executed anti-collision statement with the Bid. The estimated cost of this project is greater than Twenty-Five Thousand Dollars ($25,000) and the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act shall apply. The County of Butler reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any defects or irregularities in the best interest of the County.
